The main idea of the episode is how some people think apes are actually our great-great-great.... grandpas... The family is going camping in the tourbus because Molly is off work for two days. The gang is in the visitor center when the gaurd tells them that you can hear someone whistling a song called "Lorania" in the woods at night. Later, Fi asks her mom if she knows the song the guide was talking about, and she knows it...Fi asks her mom to play some of it, so she does...Fi seems intrigued and wonders if the area is filled with spirits and if they'll hear the whistling. Fi, Jack, and Clu go to get firewood... They're walking when Fi sees bushes moving...She wanders away from the guys to explore. She finds a piece of a uniform in a tree... She sees more rustling and goes to see if somethings there.... Jack and Clu find that Fi is missing so they go and tell Molly they can't find her.Everyone goes to find her...Fi notices she's lost...she sees another rustling so she backs up thinking it's a bear. She sees a huge hairy creature moving, so she runs, and almost falls off a cliff...She gets pulled up by a branch that was lowered by something FI thinks...is bigfoot. He runs away and Fi trails him... The family has got rangers and are planning to find Fi, everyone leaves when Jack comes up to Molly and says it's all his fault. He's depressed so Ned and Molly cheer him up...Fi's follows bigfoot to a cave. She goes inside...She uses her flashlights and sees paintings on the wall... She's walking when she sees a skelaton by her feet. The bigfoot comes and gives her a book and a necklace. The locket has a man and his family inside and the book seems to be a diary of a captain in the army. He says he's writing so people will know what hapenned. He says he would be dead if bigfoot wasn't with him. He was terrified of the bigfoot, but thinks he is an offshoot of man...he has been bringing him food and the captain thinks he is trying to save him. The captain taught bigfoot how to whistle...and thats why bigfoot follwed Fi... He thought it was the man. Fi notices a map in the book...it's the same place where the park is going to build a new visitor's center... Fi tries to tell Bigfoot that but he doesn't understand and goes farther into the cave. The man died in the cave so that bigfoot wouldn't be found... The man also writes he wants someone to tell his family he was a good man. Fi hears her mom calling for her, so she starts to get up when she sees bigfoot drawing the ap. She and him go to find a place called skull peak... Fi is walking when she sees jack talking to himself and asking if Fi could hear him... He's telling her to let their mom know where she is...he then leaves and Fi turns to go to skull rock...Molly finds a happy face made with a flashlight, and knows Fi is ok...Fi and bigfoot are still making their way to skull peak...when they get to a river. Fi hears her mom and Clu coming so she falls into the water...They get her out and bigfoot runs away without notice. Later, Fi is looking at the man's objects when Jack comes in...she hides them and Jack starts to talk to he...He asks her if she heard his message...and she gives him a very...yes/no...answer. Later, Fi mails the Captain's locket to his family... She tells him he was a good man, and a good soldier...Back
