Chip'N'Dale's Rescue Rangers |
This series, being 15 years old, doesn't have the numerically largest fanbase out there, but those who have remained interested in the series have, through this test of time, proven themselves to be highly devoted. As a consequence, there's a lot of fanwork out there of uncommonly high quality. Here's a few of the many online venues in which they can be viewed:
The Acorn Cafe - The Acorn Cafe is the ultimate Rescue Rangers fansite. It's pretty much the central hub of the tight-knit online Rangerphile community. If you've got any sort of CDRR question, ask it here - someone (or, more likely, five or six someones) will have an answer for you in short order.
The RRDatabase - A massive archive housing over 2,500 pieces of RR-related fanwork. This includes fan fiction, fan art, and various other interesting odds and ends like audio and video clips. Anyone with a lot of interest in CDRR should definately check this one out.
The Russian CDRR Portal - A large site housing the works of the Russian CDRR fan community. It's available in both Russian and English, and it's archives are fairly large. This is a site that has a lot to see.
Julie's Ranger Rama - The website of Julie Bihn, a longtime veteran of the online Rangerphile community. This has various pieces of her and other people's fanfiction and fanart, plus an archive of complete transcripts of some of the episodes of the show. Julie also runs the ROAR (Rescue Our Animated Rangers) website, which is an older site and not particularly active anymore, but has the same ultimate goal at heart as SaveDisneyShows.org does.
The Internet Gadget Archive - Focused more on Gadget, this site has a multitude of screencaptures, fanart, fanfics... A Gadgephile's paradise, really.
Indy's Ranger Museum - The website run by Indy, who's also the head moderator of the aforementioned Acorn Cafe. This site has an interesting record of the long history of the online Rangerphile community, among its various other pieces of content.
Of Mice and Mayhem - A 231 page graphic novel created by Chris Fischer. The art is of incredible quality, and this project took over 3 years to complete. If anything can indicate the kind of dedication and commitment that the Rangerphiles out there have to their show, this is it.
These should get you started - there's enough information and content to see on these pages to keep you busy for a very long time, and in addition, most of them have even more extensive listings of links to still more CDRR websites that are out there, if you're hungry for more once you get through with these.
